The Evangelical Covenant Church of Springfield
ECC
It's sometimes hard to keep on trusting God when bad things are happening all around you-when the pain is sharp and the doubt is deep and it's impossible to see the sense in it all.
The mission of Caring Ministries at ECC is to help people see the big picture of who God is, what His purposes are, and just how passionately He cares about His children. In addition to our pastoral staff and every member of our congregation, there are 13 Deacons who serve as the hands of Jesus to people just like you!

At ECC we see everyone in the congregation as family; and we care deeply about everyone. The Deacons were originally designed to help the early church leadership with caring for the needs of God’s people (Acts 6).  Our Deacons operate in much the same way and are readily available to help our church family in the following ways -

Prayer Ministry
Allow us to come along side you and lift up your needs to our Heavenly Father.  The Deacon Team collectively and individually lift up your particular need and also are available after service for one-on-one prayer needs.

Visitation
Please contact the church office if you would like a Deacon to visit you, whether at church, at home or in a medical facility.  These are caring brothers and sisters in Christ who respond to immediate needs with prayer, encouragement and practical help.
Caring
The Deacon’s Fund is available to assist those in our congregation with urgent financial needs.  It provides hope during times when we are most vulnerable.

Contact Us
Please contact any member of the caring team or the church office at 413-782-5212 or e-mail at office@eccspringfield.org if we can help you in any way!
