Community Ministry and World Missions
Being involved in ministry is an essential part of being a member of ECC Springfield. No matter your skill set or ability, there is a place for you to serve here. God has gifted us all with a variety of abilities and passions, and He expects us to use them for His glory. We hope and pray that you will find where God is calling you to serve and that you will join in that ministry with great enthusiasm. We know that in doing so you will not only be obedient to God’s call, but that you will also find yourself extremely blessed by being a part of God’s great work here at Walnut Street.
Praise and worship is not just a gathering of believers singing songs in a church service. At ECC, praise and worship is an incredible time of entering into God’s presence where we taste and see that the Lord is good. With the conviction that God inhabits the praises of His people, we joyfully prepare for and lead in worship weekly, and in special events throughout the year. As we present a joyful song to the Lord, we seek to grow in our love for Him and those for whom He gave His life.
ECC is committed to seeing our neighborhood transformed through the love of Christ.
There are numerous ways that we seek to meet the physical, and spiritual needs of
those God has placed in our neighborhood. Whether its our ongoing ministries like

God's people are to be a people on mission. There is no way to get around this fact. His people are to make disciples of all nations. We are to take the gospel to our neighbor next door and to people across the globe who have never even heard of Jesus. It is not an either/or, but a both/and. Our call is to see lives changed through the message of hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ. It is our goal that every person involved at ECC will be involved in some sort of missions endeavor so that God's Kingdom may spread in Springfield, in the United States, and across the globe.

OUTREACH
Plumtree Preschool
ECC supports missionaries throughout the world. We currently have six missionary families receiving direct support and we contribute and participate in denomination missions and mission trips.

ECC has many community based ministries that serve needs in the community and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ in the world.
As a ministry of ECC, Plumtree Preschool is open in our facility to serve our community. It provides a Christian based educational program for children.
