Worship MusicWe Are Full of Music

Pastor Matt Marluft

Music is an important part of our worship at ECC, and worship doesn’t end on Sunday morning!  We have a rich tradition of blending traditional, alternative, and contemporary forms of music as we raise our voices in praise to the Lord.  Please join us for worship and any other of our special events throughout the year and experience power of music in praising our Lord.

SANCTUARY CHOIR

Our Sanctuary Choir maintains a consistent level of approximately 30 incredibly gifted voices.  In conjunction with our talented organist, the Sanctuary Choir is truly an amazing ministry.  From our Sunday morning worship to special events like our Good Friday celebration and Christmas at the Covenant, the choir will captivate your senses and the sound will fill you with the Spirit.

WORSHIP BAND

Our Sunday morning worship band consists of guitar, keyboards, drums, bass guitar, flute, and several vocalists.  The worship band seeks to add an alternative worship opportunity to the traditional choir and organ on Sunday mornings.  In addition to Sunday morning services, the worship band also provides musical support to special events like Christmas at the Covenant and hosts an annual Christmas Coffeehouse.

BELL CHOIRS

Handbell ringing has a long history, dating back to the 1600’s, and they’ve become very popular in churches.  ECC Springfield is no exception.   The rhythmic, beautiful, rich sounds of handbells are soothing for the soul and help create a peaceful and worshipful atmosphere.  Our 12-member handbell choir achieves great range, featuring three octaves.  And the handbells aren’t just for adults.  Our Children's Church kids lead us in worship during Sunday morning worship services several times each year.  They sing songs of praise to God and ring chimes to His glory.  What a joy it is to see our children's enthusiasm and talent shine for our Lord! You never know when the handbells might make an appearance so join us every week for worship.
